Artisan products are handmade for everyday reuse. A little gentle care will help them stay useful and beautiful for as long as possible.
Waxed Bread, Snack, and Mini-Snack Bags
Wipe clean with cool water. Keep away from heat.
- Shake out crumbs after each use.
- Wipe clean with cool water and a small amount of mild dish soap when needed.
- Air-dry completely before storing or using again.
- Keep away from hot water, dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, direct heat, and prolonged sunlight.
- Avoid harsh cleaners, bleach, abrasive scrubbers, and wringing or twisting.
Waxed bags are best for bread, baked goods, dry snacks, sandwiches, fruit, and similar everyday foods. For food safety, do not use them with raw meat or very hot foods.

Every Artisan waxed bag comes with a thank-you and care card, so you have simple instructions to help care for your bag from the start.
Reversible Cotton Bowl Covers
- Wash with like colors using a gentle cycle and cool water.
- Air-dry when possible to help preserve the fabric and elastic.
- If ironing is needed, use an appropriate cotton setting and avoid direct heat on the elastic.
Jar Covers
- Gently wash in cool water with like colors.
- Reshape and air-dry before placing the cover back on a jar.
A little extra reassurance
Every Artisan waxed bag includes one complimentary Wax Refresh, should you ever want one. Your bag may never need it—it’s simply another way we stand behind the quality, beauty, and continued enjoyment of what we make.
Creases, folds, and pale lines are normal signs of use and do not, by themselves, mean your bag needs refreshing or replacing.
