Wax Refresh

Artisan waxed bags are made to be renewed, not replaced. Every eligible Artisan waxed bag includes one complimentary Wax Refresh to help extend its useful life.

After the complimentary refresh, Artisan wax bags can continue to be rewaxed as needed for a service fee:

Bread bag rewax: $8.00 each
Snack and Mini-Snack bag rewax: $4.00 each

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs.

What Is a Wax Refresh?

With regular use, the protective wax coating on a bread bag, Snack Bag, or Mini-Snack Bag can gradually wear down. A Wax Refresh renews that coating so the fabric can continue serving you in the kitchen.

When Might My Bag Need a Refresh?

The fabric feels noticeably less waxed than when it was new.
The coating looks thin or uneven in frequently handled areas.
The bag no longer holds its shape or protects food as effectively as it once did.

Normal creasing and changes in appearance are expected with use and do not always mean the bag needs refreshing.

Before Sending Your Bag

Please contact us before mailing anything. Tell us which item you have, approximately when it was purchased, and what changes you have noticed. We will confirm eligibility and provide the current instructions.

How the Process Works

Contact Artisan and describe the condition of your waxed bag.
Wait for confirmation and shipping instructions.
Clean and completely dry the bag according to our Product Care instructions.
Send the eligible bag as directed.
We will refresh the wax coating and arrange its return according to the instructions provided.

What a Refresh Can—and Cannot—Do

A Wax Refresh renews the wax coating. It cannot reverse permanent stains, repair torn or heavily damaged fabric, or restore an item that has been exposed to excessive heat or improper care. We will review the condition with you before the bag is sent.
