Creases, folds, and pale lines are normal signs of use in waxed cotton. Your bag can show these marks and still function as intended.
Wax Refresh is an optional way to freshen your bag’s appearance. A used look alone does not mean your bag needs refreshing or replacing. If you have questions about its condition or performance, contact us—we’re happy to help.
Every Artisan Kitchen waxed bag comes with one complimentary Wax Refresh. After that, we can refresh your bag again for a small fee—as often as needed, provided it remains in good condition.

Wax Refresh pricing
After your complimentary refresh, additional refreshes are available at these low-cost service rates. The same bag can be refreshed again as needed, provided it remains in good condition:
- Bread bag: $8 each
- Snack and Mini-Snack bag: $4 each
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs.

A refresh can soften the look of creases and freshen your bag’s appearance. Normal signs of use alone do not mean your bag needs refreshing.
How it works
- Contact Artisan with the item you have and its condition.
- Wait for confirmation and shipping instructions.
- Clean and completely dry your bag according to its care instructions.
- Send it as directed. We will renew the wax coating and arrange its return.
What a refresh can do
A Wax Refresh primarily freshens your bag’s appearance by renewing the wax coating. It cannot repair torn fabric or remove permanent stains. We will review your bag’s condition with you before you send it.
